I ended up in the ER over $10.

From Scarcity to Abundance: How I Found Healing, Flow, and True Success

Three years ago, I landed in the ER over a $10 decision.

I refused to take an Uber during a downpour, leading to a face-plant off my bike, a cracked tooth, and mascara-streaked tears under harsh hospital lights. My friend’s words echoed in my ears: “What the F*CK is wrong with you? You’re not a broke college student anymore—you run a seven-figure business. Why didn’t you just take a damn Uber?”

Sitting there, bloody and broken, I didn’t just see my shattered tooth in the mirror. I saw a woman trapped in the chokehold of scarcity wounds.

The Signs of Scarcity Mentality

👀 The red flags were everywhere:

  • Obsessively Venmo-requesting friends for $5 coffees (cringe)

  • Refusing to spend on Ubers, even in unsafe areas

  • Constantly fearing homelessness despite owning NYC property

  • Feeling unworthy of nice things, even with six figures in my business account

Here’s the truth: scarcity wounds don’t care about your bank balance. They’re generational, etched into our DNA like a twisted inheritance.

💔 My ER visit wasn’t the only wake-up call. Months earlier, I’d pushed through a massive launch right after surgery to remove a fibroid the size of a baby’s head. That scarcity voice whispered, “If you stop, everything will disappear.”

In stark contrast stood my husband, embodying peace with his “why shouldn’t good things happen to us?” energy. Yet there I was, plagued by nightmares and unable to accept my own joy.

Breaking Free Through Healing

✨ Burnout forced a shift. With psychedelic-assisted therapy and deep inner work, I uncovered patterns rooted in worth and love, learning to receive good things without waiting for disaster.

Now? I’m flying my mom business class to Spain and Morocco, gifting her the world she never got to see.

Healing Generational Trauma

🌟 My mom’s journey is part of mine. Raised in communist China and widowed in a new country, she carried decades of unprocessed grief. Chinese medicine teaches that lungs represent grief—and her body, battling an autoimmune condition, was crying out.

As I prioritized time with her, she began to heal physically and emotionally. Compassion replaced my frustration, allowing me to hold her story with love.

✨ This profound healing transformed not just my personal life but how I show up in business.

Real Healing Means Real Connection

❤ When we sit with our pain instead of avoiding it, we open space for genuine connection:

  • Healing that transcends surface-level fixes

  • Growth that comes from embracing our whole selves

This is what we’re building in my PR program: a space where women of color and daughters of immigrants can reclaim their voices and tell their stories unapologetically.

Why Stories Matter

When members share fears about visibility, I hold space instead of rushing to fix. In those “me too” moments, transformation happens.

Our community isn’t just about landing media features—it’s about creating safe spaces for humanity.

From Scarcity to Flow

As Black Friday brings a flood of scarcity-driven marketing, I’m here to remind you: healing is possible. You don’t need urgency or manipulation to thrive.

Our PR program reflects this ethos. It’s always open because I trust in divine timing and your intuition—not fear.

Right now, for the first 10 people who feel that deep “hell yes,” I’m gifting a 1:1 2025 PR strategy session (valued at $500). Ten feels right because it’s the number of people I can hold space for in this moment.

😍 Together, we’re creating success that feels like coming home:

  • 🌈 Living without guilt

  • 💖 Taking up space unapologetically

  • ✨ Building businesses rooted in authenticity

With you on this journey to abundance,

Gloria
