I went to the VMAs last night

Last night, I swapped PJs for glam and hit the VMAs in NY. Talk about a teenage dream come true! šŸ¤©

šŸ¤©Eminem. Sabrina Carpenter. Meagan Three Sallion. Even Flavor Flav made the stage!

It was so fun to see the production, the stages, the outfits, Taylor Swift..but let me be real: I had no clue what to wear or who half the artists wereā€”because, spoiler, Iā€™m not exactly plugged into the latest trends and donā€™t exactly love pop culturešŸ˜‚.

Going there and seeing all the screaming fans to artists I didnā€™t even know who they were? It made me feel old. LOL.

BUT, when Lenny Kravitz and LL COOL J took the stage, the crowd exploded. Eventhough they were teens and mid twenties, they all went WILD.

ā“This is strange..since Lenny and LL literally have NOT had a hit in decades, yet they still owned the room. Which got me thinkingā€¦.

You can withstand the test of time and ALWAYS be in demand, if you leverage the power of being known for something, even just once.
