It’s not money or success we want, its THIS instead
Healing and Freedom: The Work We’re Here to Do
If you’ve followed my healing journey with psychedelics and repairing my relationship with my mom at age 37, you know I believe in the deep inner work we are all here to do as humans:
🙏 To heal our inner child and wounded parts.
🙏 To rewrite old narratives that keep us small and stuck.
🙏 To let go of fear and take that necessary step into the unknown.
🙏 To trust ourselves enough to change our current state.
Change Comes from Small, Incremental Steps
The massive shifts in my life haven’t come from single BIG moments, but rather small, consistent changes over time.
Change is like a muscle we must work daily.
It requires consciously redirecting our thoughts and actions away from our dominant, default narratives.
For me, the hardest lesson has been learning to listen to my intuition and let go fully.
When Life Clears the Way for Growth
Recently, I’ve experienced a huge clearing in both my personal and professional life, including:
Letting go of team members to pave the way for a 10x growth phase in our business.
Navigating overwhelming “when it rains, it pours” moments where everything seemed to shift all at once.
These moments, while challenging, often act as life’s way of nudging us to let go of what no longer serves us and make space for the next level.
A Sacred Weekend of Connection and Reflection
This past weekend, my college best friends organized a women’s trip to Mexico to celebrate my upcoming wedding. The highlight was a sacred cacao and sound bath ceremony where we:
Laughed, danced, chanted, and cried together.
Experienced deep rest and presence outside of our routines.
Listened to our inner voices and cracked our hearts open.
When the facilitator asked, “What is it that you truly want?” my answer surprised me.
Freedom: The True Desire
What I truly want isn’t money, success, fame, or an audience—it’s freedom.
Freedom from pressure to do, be, or act a certain way.
Freedom from controlling patterns that keep us in survival mode.
Freedom from fear and lack of self-trust that keep us stuck.
Freedom comes from taking aligned action from a deeply loving place for ourselves, not from external circumstances or material possessions.
Lessons in Surrender and Rest
For me, freedom is about:
Surrendering into deep rest and feeling worthy of pleasure and play.
Letting go of the survival mindset my mom lived in as a widowed and divorced immigrant raising a child.
The Question to Ask Yourself
What is the ONE belief holding you back from experiencing freedom in your life?
Is it really a “lack of money” or “lack of time”?
Or is it deeper—rooted in fear, guilt, or self-doubt?
💗 Let this be a gentle reminder to:
Give yourself permission to let go.
Embrace the feeling of freedom.
Take small, intentional steps toward getting unstuck.
