You’re not supposed to make content if it’s just for money, it shouldn’t feel like work

With the upcoming ban on third-party tracking and cookies, learning how to gain trust with your audience by positioning yourself as a thought leader is more critical than ever. Since this will cause business owners to be unable to track their customers, they must become confident in their brand and business to succeed through all new challenges coming their way.

When it comes to building up your brand, who you are really matters. It is about your personality, your story, and your values. Those who support you and have interest in your business will care about who you are and how you can relate to or help them. Therefore, those people who don’t focus on brand building are going to lose.

One of the best ways you can consistently build your brand is with SEO, so get your name out there and become searchable!

Another important aspect of brand building is creating a community. Building a community is all about your audience and what will make them feel the most connected and engaged with you and your services. It is also the best way to make your clients feel they are not only benefiting from a service, but gaining trust, value, and worth. Regardless of what happens with social media, your community is not going anywhere.

Sandy Lin is an influencer, TEDx Speaker, founder of Small Business Tips,  and an amazing Gen Z entrepreneur who is empowering small business owners by creating the go-to business resource hub, community, and ecosystem for you to launch, scale, and connect.

Some of Sandy’s Tips To Build A Community:

  1. Get your niche down

  2. Be very specific, then go off from there

  3. Build trust before selling them anything

Building your brand and creating a community is exciting and having support and fresh insight along the way definitely helps. If you are not fully comfortable or ready to do it on your own, scout out partners to work or collaborate with. You got this!
